1956 – Esplanade House
The first Trilby Misso office is tiny, a three square metre room in Comino’s Arcade at Redcliffe. Trilby’s son, Hilton Misso, joins the firm in 1964 as a law clerk.

1966 – Redcliffe Peninsula
Larger offices at 23 Anzac Ave, Redcliffe open, supplemented by two caravans parked outside for staff. In 1974, Hilton becomes a partner and we move to 27 Anzac Ave – Redcliffe’s first air-conditioned office!

1976 – Trilby Misso & Company
Jim Cassimatis and Warren Dwyer join us. We open Cabooolture and Strathpine offices. Bill Andrews and Jim become partners by 1978 and our name changes from Trilby Misso & Company to Trilby Misso Lawyers.

1986 – Trilby Misso (himself) turns
70 years old
Predicting a decline in conveyancing work, we begin to focus on our current area of practice. Specialist lawyer, Jenny Zande, joins us. Trilby retires in 1991. Jenny joins Hilton, Jim and Bill as a partner. Following Jim’s retirement, Nigel Munt becomes a partner in 1995.

1996 – Partners, Bill, Nigel and Hilton
The Trilby Misso brand is becoming quite well known. We acquire Kenyons’ practice in 2000 and move to 288 Edward St, our current address. By 2006, Lisa Rennie and Michael Broughton are partners and we’re 100% focused on our current area of practice.

2008 – We become an
incorporated practice
We strive to be the leaders in our field, safeguarding the rights of our clients, and ensuring they receive the legal outcomes and justice to which they are entitled. Our mission is to achieve the best results for our clients every time. We do it because we care.
