Trilby Misso expands to Gold Coast

21 February 2010

Brisbane law firm Trilby Misso is expanding from its Brisbane headquarters to provide services to the Gold Coast region. Trilby Misso CEO Graeme McFadyen said the firm would open a client service centre in the Robina Town Centre in April.

Mr McFadyen said the firm founded by lawyer and businessman Trilby Misso at Redcliffe in 1956 has major expansion plans.

He said Trilby Misso had recently opened client service centres at North Lakes and Morayfield on Brisbane’s northern outskirts, it also has a presence in Gladstone in Central Queensland and next month will open a new Ipswich office.

“Trilby Misso wants to provide highly valued services to local residents in some of the most rapidly growing areas of the state,” Mr McFadyen said.

“These new centres will be staffed by highly skilled and experienced staff with a strong customer focus who will be able to assist current and future clients as well as the community generally.

“We believe that in delivering on our commitment to providing client service at the highest standard to local residents we will be maintaining the community service ideals of our founder Trilby Misso.”

The new Trilby Misso client service centre at The Rocket will be officially opened by Gold Coast Mayor Ron Clarke on April 13. Trilby Misso centralised its business at 288 Edward St in the Brisbane CBD three years ago.

But Mr McFadyen said growing client demand demonstrated there was a need for the company’s services throughout the state’s South-East and in other major Queensland regional centres. “The planning for further client service centres is well underway,” he said. Trilby Misso established his first practice in a small room at Comino’s Arcade in Redcliffe.

“Now the firm, which last year was honoured with a Telstra Queensland Medium Business Award, and recently received accreditation as a Hewitt Best Employer in Australia and New Zealand employs 145 people.
