Trilby Misso staff are covered

6 August 2008

As of August 2008 all Trilby Misso staff are covered under a corporate membership with the Paraplegic Benefit Fund. This means that if any Trilby Misso staff sustains a permanent spinal injury they will be eligible to claim the $100,000 discretionary member benefit.

This support falls under Trilby Misso’s Community Spirit Program for 2008/2009. More information can be found in the Sponsorships section of our website.

The Paraplegic Benefit Fund (PBF) originally focused on financial support for those who suffered a spinal cord injury; however they have now extended their focus to preventing spinal cord injuries through injury prevention programs.

The programs employ people with spinal cord injuries and aim to reduce the number of serious injuries, in particular spinal cord injuries, on the road, in the workplace and in the aquatic environment.
